Leading figures from the UN Principles of Responsible Investing RI, including Chairman Donald MacDonald, define and explain modern concepts of responsible investment and talk about the need for global collaboration.
Returns versus mainstream
Once a year the Responsible Investment Association commissions an independant study of the returns acheived from repsonsible investing versus mainstream invetsments. Over both three and five year periods, responsible funds have outperformed mainstream funds over all categories surveyed.

An expert from Sao Paulo, Brazil explains an initiative to report on slave labour and human rights abuses in supply chains. She says investors will be able to more drawn to companies that are transparent in their reporting of these issues.
